Simonstown  2—9  St.Colmciles 1—6.

     Simonstown senior team defeated St.Colmcilles on Saturday evening in Simonstown to claim their first League win of this League campaign.

    St.Comlcilles open  their account with a point in first minute. Eoghan Gough with a defence splitting found Sean Tobin racing in goal and  he  palmed over the advancing goalies head to the net. From the resultant kick out  Simons gained possession and Aaron Farrelly with a low  ground shot rattled the Cilles net to put Simons 2—0 to 0—1 after nine minutes.​ Cilles after  some  excellent forward play found  Ben Brennan who  sent a rocket past Robbie Burlingham.  Two Padraig McKeever points (1f) two from play by Ben Hoey and one from Josh Carolan sent Simonstown into the dressing at the break  leading 2—5 to 1—3.

      Aaron Farrelly slotted over after six  second half minutes and two frees  converted  by Padraig McKeever put the Navan men ahead by 2—8 to 1—5 with ten minutes  left to play. Tadgh Hanrahan ​ completed the  Simons tally with along range point as they ran our deserving winners.
