A thriller in Simonstown
On a sunny Friday evening our u13 Div C team eventually got their campaign up and running against a strong and well drilled Oldcastle side
The first half ebbed and flowed with both sides taking the lead but neither could push on
The second half followed a similar vein with both teams responding with score for score. Two late points secured a draw for the home side, and after a brilliant game neither team deserved to lose. In a super team performance Noah Friel, Finn McDonald, Dan Holland, Daniel McGoona and Conor O’Kane excelled for the home side
