There’s something special happening in Meath ladies football and tonight, the future made itself known in style. Huge congratulations to the Meath U20 Ladies who brought home the championship title in a display of heart, grit, and class that made the county proud. 🟡🟢🏆

Among the standout performances were three of our very own from Simonstown Gaels Anna, Mia, and Shauna, who represented the club with immense pride. From their relentless work rate to their leadership on and off the pitch, these young women showed exactly what it means to wear the Meath jersey.

It’s not just their talent that makes us proud, it’s their example. These girls are more than just winners tonight; they are role models for every young girl in our club who dreams of pulling on a Simonstown jersey and going all the way to county glory. 

Whether it’s at training on a cold evening or in the middle of a championship battle, Anna, Mia, and Shauna consistently show what dedication, teamwork, and passion can achieve.

As a club, we couldn’t be prouder and we know the wider Simonstown Gaels family is celebrating right alongside them. These are the moments that inspire the next generation, and tonight’s victory will be remembered not just for the silverware, but for the spirit and togetherness shown on that field.

But the job’s not done yet.

Now all eyes turn to our Meath Senior Ladies this Sunday, as they prepare to take on Dublin in what promises to be another thrilling chapter in this ongoing rivalry. 

The bar has been set high by our U20s and there’s no doubt the seniors will be out to match that intensity, skill, and hunger. Let’s get behind them and bring that same energy as supporters!
